Sunnie Liu is an interdisciplinary artist, narrative strategist, and organizer based between New York City and the Bay Area, with roots in rural China and Texas.

Sunnie creates diasporic biomythography, critical fabulation, and liberation evangelism. Sunnie's work has been featured by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Ely Center for Contemporary Art, Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, Asian American Arts Alliance, Storefront for Ideas, NYU Press, and POV on PBS.

Sunnie is currently a Public Interest Scholar at Berkeley Law. Sunnie also co-founded Xin Sheng Project and co-led award-winning campaigns.
