SUNNIE LIU

Sunnie Liu is an interdisciplinary artist, narrative strategist, and organizer based between Houston and New York City.

Sunnie is a Bandung artist-in-residence and co-founder of Xīn Shēng Project. Sunnie's work has been featured by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, Asian American Arts Alliance, Think!Chinatown, NYU Press, POV on PBS, Gidra, and Foreign Policy.

Through a practice rooted in community and collective futurisms, Sunnie creates diasporic biomythography, critical fabulation, and liberation evangelism.
