Sunnie Liu is a co-founder of Xīn Shēng Project, co-head of the Yale Asian American Cultural Center, organizer for Justice is Global, student at Yale University, and interdisciplinary artist.

Sunnie's artwork has been featured by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston, BLUEorange Gallery, and Yale Norfolk School of Art Residency, and Sunnie's designs have been recognized by the Lohmann & Van Sinderen Prizes. Sunnie has also served as the Creative Director for the Yale Scientific, Yale Globalist, and Xīn Shēng Project.

Since Sunnie was born in southern China but grew up in Houston, Texas, being a migrant,
Chinese / Asian American, and Houstonian / Texan / Southern is integral to all of Sunnie's work.
